2007 Maybach 57 S Summary
The 2007 57 S is a 4-door, up to 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in one trim only, the Sedan.
Upon introduction, the 57 S is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V12, 604-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 11-mpg in the city and 17-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2007 57 S is a carryover from 2006.
The overall performance of the vehicle is very good.It is fuel efficient when compared to other vehicles of its breed.It is user friendly.
I have owned a multitude of luxury motor cars over the years, including a Rolls Royce Phantom, a Ferrari Mondial and a Chrysler 300. The Maybach, though squarely tested by the 300, is the best I have driven yet. My only wish is that the steering wheel came standard.
