2008 Acura RL Summary
The 2008 RL is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the Sedan to the CMBS/PAX Package.
Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 290-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2008 RL is a carryover from 2007.

Acura’s Flagship
Overall the 08 RL is a great car, should have the cool/heat seat controls on it like the 09,and new design 18 inch wheels as standard.

Completely satisfied
I compared its performance and value againts the I, L, B and M brands and the Acura RL came on top. Initially I was looking for the I brand but after test driving all of them I chose Acura.

Great car for the money
Great car. Voice recognition, bluetooth, navigation, etc. work great and are very intuitive. Previously owned 5 series and loved the car but too many problems. Comparably equiped 5 series approaches $60k while the RL can be purchased well below sticker. Not quite as much fun to drive as the 5 but will respond if pushed and AWD kicks in. Also considered Infiniti M35 but comparable model was thousands more and interior quality was inferior.

One of the best in its class.
Wife purchase the vehicle in 2006, traded a TL, we have the tech pacakage and I enjoy all the features of the vehicle, stero is the best I have listened compared other luxury vehicles we have owened, at speed the vehicle is quite / smooth / quick, my wife especially enjoyes the accident avoidence system of which she has experenced it several time living in the bay area of ca., I like it because everyone here either has a Merc / BMW / Lexus and they realy place a high standard on what they pull up in with there noses your know where, i like that it is a very strong vehicle (read the build list), last but not least the vehicle stands on it own platform, something people truly do not understand, but another when it has that beautiful V8 that Acura has and no one knows about.
