Very noisy, loud embarrassing squeaky front brakes
Pros: Nice Sterio, Good fuel economy.
Cons: Very Poor front brakes, DSG Trans has issues when in Reverse.
We oun a new Audi A3 and have taking the car in for front brake problems 2 times which Audi knows about but will dont fix or do anything about. Our new A3 Audi has 9,000 miles on it and the front brakes are very nosiy. If you can’t stand very noisy, loud embarrassing squeaky brakes, DONT BUY A AUDI! Trust me, You will get tierd of people asking you, Hey, What’s wrong with your new car?

16 Months/27K Miles Later, I STILL LOVE THIS CAR!
Pros: Fantastic build quality, great performance, unique - not a cookie cutter car
Cons: MPG could be better, a bit expensive, passenger seat not electric
Many reviews on cars seem to be made shortly after being purchased while the buyer is still in the honeymoon phase. And sometimes reviews appear to be written by people who don’t really own one of them.
So after owning this 2007 A3 3.2 for over 16 months and 27,500 miles, I feel I am now qualified to give a real-world assessment of what it’s been like using this car for my daily transportation.
Reliability - I don’t get the Yahoo published ratings as I’ve had ZERO problems. Consumer Reports rates much better than average. MPG - I average 22 MPG in combined driving. 65 MPH on the fwy will get you 26 to 27. Around town, 12 to 14. Extended trip at 90 to 100 MPH got only 20 MPG (I know, Duh!). Performance - this car LOVES to go fast and its speed is very deceiving. Although sport suspension is a bit skittish in rough spots, the chassis feels very solid. No rattles whatsoever - very impressive. Some say this car costs way too much - WRONG! When all considered, it’s priced about right. So after all this time, I still look forward to driving this car every day. The love affair continues.

Wonderful little car
Pros: Quick little car, seats hug you, DSG gives you the best of both worlds, turbo sounds great
Cons: on start up the car kinda sounds sad compared to how it sounds being run.
I love this little car. It drives so nice, and feels so luxurious that I wish I had bought it sooner, although it is a 2008 so that could be hard. I bougth a black 2.0T DSG with the sideline package. My one and only complaint is that someone played around w/ the radio before the dealer could do anything to the car so the car went into safe mode and locked out the radio, so I have this brand new banging car and no radio, yet. I would suggest this car to anyone who enjoys driving, my husband who had owned a porsche and corrado before loved driving this car. Hope this helps!!
