Great Car, Happy to see Gm is picking up the pace

Pros: good fuel economy, handling, roomy interior, smooth clutch and shifter, great service from gm, trunk
Cons: maybe a little more horse power

i am after having two of these cars. the first one was over 2 years old and was no in the shop once, outside for oil changes and check up. Then someone hit the car while i was going through an intersection and it was writen off. I Then went back to Gm and bough another aveo. I am after driving the honda fit and the toyota yaris and found they gave a worse ride so i stuck with the aveo. I also found that Gm gave me better service and were more friendlier than honda or toyota. Gm was also more willing to add more features and lower the price of the car.

Amazing amount of space. good overall value.

Pros: Good MPG, lots of interior space, nice controls
Cons: Could use a bit more MPG and power

I rented one of these cars for 2 weeks and I was amazed how much room there was inside and in the trunk, this car is much better than the previous one before the 07 redesign. I’m not a small guy, 5′9″ 350# and I had no problem getting comfortable, the stereo sounded great and the overall ride was very good. It was a rental so I would option it a little differently if I bought one but the car as a whole would definitely be one I will consider the next time I’m in the market for a car and consider it a good value for the money.

GM customer service is not good

Pros: Not to bad, but you will never get what they say you will get.
Cons: GM will not repair their problem cars.

2007 Chevrolet Aveo passenger airbag light stays on when my wife who weights about 130 lbs. I have had the auto into the dealership 7 times sence I purchesed it in Feb 2007 to repair this problem. They claim that they have contacted GM about this problem, but not come up with a fix for it. I called GM customer relations about this problem. They are no help eather. They claim they replaced every thing connected with the air bag system, but it still don’t work. My wife will not ride in the car the way it is, so I have a car that I can’t take my wife with me when I go any place.
I would not purchase another GM product because of this, their customer service is not good.

    Love this little car!

Pros: Great on gas, easy to park, turns on a dime, roomy inside
    Cons: more horsepower

We love this little car!! Of all the cars we test drove (about 6 or 7) this one was the one that met most of our needs. Great gas milage, very safe, quiet engine, nice to ride in, spacious interior. The large trunk is a huge plus as well, since your not used to getting that with smaller cars. If anything it could use a slightly larger engine with a little more horsepower but we knew going into the purchase that it was little engine. It can definetly keep up on the highway though once you get on.
