Returning Honda Customer - Very Pleased!

Prior Honda owner had a 05 Accord LX V6 never should have traded! Traded on a Toy Highlander V6 because location, and purpose, Huge MISTAKE 3 years 50% of $$$ lost - Will NEVER buy Toyota again just because the resale value!

Any way, I bought the 08 EX-L V6 average about 30-33 mpg on 125 mile one way commute to work. LOVE this car! Power I need to the commute, and drive style, comfort and features I really like.

Will not leave Honda again, lesson learned.

    Great for long drive

Ok folks I have had this car for over four months now. I finally did a long drive today. I drove from Pittsburgh to Washington DC and back in one day. I was concerned it would be a grueling drive, considering the back and forth. But to my surprise it was enjoyable. The ride was smooth and the car practically drove itself. Passing was without a hitch, changing lanes on the beltway was a breeze, and quick stops were excellent and confidant. If you have drove on the Beltway, you know about the changing lanes and sudden braking. It also made driving on open highway a pleasure. The seats are firm but very comfortable, considering being in the car for little over 9 hours, I have very little body fatigue. The XM radio is a bonus for long trips, don’t have to listen to the same cds or search for stations. The gas milage was around 31.4 MPG on the highway. BIG BONUS! The road noise varied, depending upon the pavement quality. Road noise is barely noticeable with the stereo on, especially with speed sensitive volume control. Enough said for now. If you can’t guess by now this car is worthy of the HONDA name. Get one and enjoy driving again!

    A beautiful car

This car has lots of road noise when traveling on the road, but it is great when I am traveling in my yard. I love a Honda and I was telling my friend how much I loved my Honda and then he pointed out that I had a Toyota. To remedy this situation I said to him that I love my Toyota and he agreed. What I love about my Toyota/Honda is that when you are laying underneath the car you can’t tell if it is a Toyota or a Honda. So who cares, just so long that it is not a Buick. I recently took my car on a long trip to the southern tip of south america and what a great time I had except I was robbed in Mexico five times. The last four times they didn’t get anything. I was disappointed that I couldn’t drive the car to Anartica. I wanted to point out that once you get south of Loredo Texas there are no Cracker Barrel resturants or Star Bucks. So bring your own coffee and eggs and bacon, but don’t cook bacon in the car or when you are naked.

    Happy Customer

I test drove the Sonata, Camry, Malibu 08 LS and Altima and I liked the Accord EX the best. Camry, ride was too soft , Sonata the same , Altima engine not as smooth as the Honda VTEC and interior was ok. I did not like the CVT tranny ( I like it to shift! my preference) The rear seat in the Accord was huge compared to the others. The others weren’t bad though. Noticeable tighter in the back seats in the Malibu.
I almost bought the Malibu but there were only a total of about ten to look at in a 75 sq. mile area! I went to the local Honda dealer and purchased an Accord EX red with beige interior for invoice, ttl, doc fee and saved over 2200 dollars . They had over 100 in stock.LX-EX-L. Some have written that the center console radio and ac/heat contols were too confusing. I found it to be just fine, even simpler in some respects since all you have to remember is that the top row is nothing but heat/ac/fan controls and the rest are radio/cd player controls. Once you get used to it it will be just fine. I find the fit and finish to be impeccable, as usual good Honda quality.
The engine is so smooth you can hardly hear it idling. It has good power ,it has good reliability ratings from Consumer’s Union,J.D. Powers etc .. It gets pretty good gas mileage , transports my family and I in comfort and safety and it looks good what more do you want?
