2008 Lexus ES 350 Sedan

I got a white one and I don’t like the color and they $4,000 to repaint it which I didn’t want to spend since my payment is already $650 per month. The interior is very nice although the cd is not smooth. The sound system is very loud and is great on a long trip. I like the luggage room, but I had difficutly getting the spare tire out. I thought I had a flat, but actually I was just low on air.
Its difficult to operate the sun roof. The buttons are not located well and are hard to understand. I think a hand crank one would be better.
Fritz from Metairie, LA :Transmission experienced “Flare”, engine speeding during shifting and at other times. Replacement transmission also has same problem, as well as new ES 350 used as loaner during replacement; i.e., three up, three down. Don’t know if this can be fixed. Lexus has had this problem for awhile.

The 2008 ES 350 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in one trim only, the Sedan.
Upon introduction, the ES 350 is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 272-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2008 ES 350 is a carryover from 2007.
