It’s what the level of luxury, classic german handling, and pleasing price is what makes this a great Mercedes to buy.

But the weak performance and untraditional appearance doesn’t make this a real Mercedes.

Still, Mercedes Benz enthusiasts will want to buy this luxury sedan. But some of those enthusiasts will regret it once they find out it’s weak and not the prettiest car in the world.

went looking for a bmw with a manual.no luck,none avalible.stumbled on a silver “base”c300 with the 6 speed.what a suprise.great short throw manual,excellent acceleration.perfect ride ,handling combination.lots of standard equipment(other brands charge a heafty premium) for only 31.9k!this is truley a case of more for less…and its a mercedes!

Bought this to replace my BMW 330. Its smooth, quiet and comfortable. The look is ok but somethine feels unfinished about the whole thing. There is plenty of room even for big people. Simple and clean interior design. The engine is smooth and the transmission generally smart but shifts are abrupt at times. The response is very good.

Thats where the compliments end and I didn’t know it would be such a step down in quality.

The materials of the dash are just too plasticy, something I did not notice when I first bought the car. Now, the glove box is broken, the Nav screen does not retract, the interior lighting has 3 shorts in different locations.

Fuel efficiency is not that great either. I only average 16 mpg and thats mostly highway. My BMW did much better at 21.

I briefly looked at a Cadillac CTS and loved the interior and the quality of the CTS was superior to that of this Mercedes, something I never thought I would say! But I could get the CTS I wanted without waiting at least 1 month as they are selling like hot cakes so I settled for this MB. I’ve owned Mercs in the past and they were state of the art. This one seems to be a few steps behind- an unfinished school project. Would I recommend this to anyone? No. Would I buy a Merceds again, perhaps but only if they lower the price 10% and if depreciation rates get a little better.

It was either a MB 300 or G35, chose the MB because of the name, big mistake. The car makes squeaking noises in stop and go traffic. Took it to the dealer and they couldn’t find anything. What do you know. If I had to do it all over again I would of bought the G. The best thing about this car is the quiet cabin and smooth ride on the freeway. Don’t buy a car based on the name like I did.

I just purchased a 2008 C300 sport model. I got the car way below the invoice. These cars are also been made in South Africa in addition to Germany so if you want a German made car, you need to read the label on the driver door. It is a much nicer car in terms of size, performance and options compare to its earlier model. I recommend getting all three packages since they cost much less compare to more expensive MB models and they are very useful and fun especially if you plan to keep the car for 5 years or more. Otherwise get at least P1 and the Multimedia package.

The only issue I had was that it was almost imposible to find a car with leather but I have no problem with MB Text and can not tell the difference now.

If you really want to appreciate the car, just drive a Accord or Camery with all their options. I also test drove BMW 328 and it was a more responsise and sportier car but overall it has boring interior design with very expensive options with a lot less room in case if you have a family. These are two different types of cars for different people.

We bought this car after 1 test drive. If you can afford it get the Multimedia pkg, p1, & AMG wheels. You will love the car even more & won’t get tired of it in 2-3 years.

this car has a smooth ride and comfortable seats. The radio, satallite and regular radio are very easy to assess from the stirring wheel. Plenty of room, cu[ holders are sturdy and cups fit perfect.
There is absolutely nothing that i can say negative about this automobile.

I love this car!!. I highly recommend this car to anyone who wants luxury but no spending 50,000 to get it. I have the sport 300 with luxury package with the navigation, power seats/heated, fold in side windows. I looked at the BMWs and Lexus comparable cars and this was for me the combination of styling, features, and price!
