2009 Toyota Corolla Summary
The 2009 Corolla is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in 8 trims, ranging from the Base 5-Spd MT to the XRS 5-Spd AT.
Upon introduction, the Base 5-Spd MT is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 132-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 35-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The XRS 5-Spd AT is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 158-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2009 Corolla is redesigned for 2009.

The new Corolla 09 is more sporty looking then last years. It is better looking then honda civic. It is a fun smooth ride with manual transmision. It has a lot of cool new features.
