Well, if you consider a giant new piece of chrome on the grille something special, then the 2009 Acura RL is your kind of luxury sedan. Of course, there’s more than just chrome up front. The grille has been updated with Acura’s “power plenum” design and the aluminum hood is now “blow-formed” to assure its almost perfectly flat shape. There are five new exterior colors as well.

XM (NASDAQ: XMSR) announced that XM NavWeather, the first in-vehicle real-time weather tracking service for navigation, will be available on the all-new second-generation Acura TSX sports sedan. The vehicle was unveiled today at the 2008 New York International Auto Show at the Jacob K. Javits Center.
2009 TSX drivers will be first to experience the new XM NavWeather service, available as part of the Technology Package that also includes an Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition™ and AcuraLink® real-time traffic powered by XM NavTaffic. The 2009 TSX will also offer XM® Radio, which features 170 channels of audio entertainment.
When the unimpressive Acura Sports Car Concept debuted at the Detroit auto show in January, most thought it was a glimpse at the next-generation Acura NSX. Since then, Honda has been silent about its upcoming V10 supercar. Not anymore.
Wearing heavily modified S2000 sheet metal and riding on a platform with an extended wheelbase and wider track, the front-engine V10 test mule broke cover on Germany’s famed Nürburgring test track. And like the upcoming GT-R supercar from Nissan, this Honda prototype was paced around the track by a Porsche 911 Turbo, proof that Honda means business.
From the 2008 New York Auto Show, Cars.com’s Mike Hanley takes a look at the 2009 Acura TSX. It competes with the Audi A4 and Infiniti G35.
