2009 Jaguar XF-Series Summary

The 2009 XF-Series is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the Luxury to the Supercharged.

Upon introduction, the Luxury is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine. The Supercharged is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 420-horsepower, supercharged engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

The 2009 XF-Series is all-new for 2009.

2009 XF-Series Supercharged –The Cat is definitely back! I drove the first XF R my dealer got in and loved the performance. Makes the E Class Benz seem dated and blows away the BMW 5 series in looks. I’ve all but ordered mine but they sure have high lease rates comparing MSRP to MSRP of the E and 5. Hope they get a litlle more punch when ownership goes to TA TA as right now they are not competitive and need to be. Lot’s of ground to make up with the Jaguar brand. Between my wife’s new XK and the XF they are on their way. This from a person who has had several Mercedes and BMW’s over the years. Go see it!!

If i could only name 1 awesome feature,it would be the shift nob,wich rises from the center console upon tartup.But i can’t name just 1.Speed,looks,refinement!Is this really a Jag?!My S-type’s goin on Ebay!

2009 XF-Series Supercharged 

I just tested it. Came to my dealer Friday. All weekend tested it. I recommend. I will have one in 3 month. I will return than to tell you more. The diesel engine is a 2.7 Liter engine. Very smooth (first engine i saw with no diesel noise). very modern interior with lot of “smoothies” to make you smile.

2009 XF-Series Premium Luxury Review:  A beautiful fast cat that combines luxury, sportiness, and many easy to use technological advances. Some of the new features are: a pulsing start button, jaguardrive :a gear selector that rises up, available radar-based blindspot monitor keeps those inside safe, rotating vents, jaguar sense proximity sensor: you just touch the light and the phosphor blue lighting used in cell phones and MP3 players but its application in the new XF is an automotive “first.”
