Q:Nissan Murano?

First, Nissan says Murano 4WD has19/24 mpg but my 05 has a highest 22 mpg, and average of 20 and 21, using 91 grade. I took a long trip on highway before and I drove 75-80 mpg. I have minimum AC on, and it bearly get to 21 mpg. Is that normal? Second, I thought mine accelerated slower than a few 2WD I test drove before even my 4wd set off. I have never driven another Murano 4wd. Third, my car was driving, I then realeased gas pedal and let it ran freely, we I get to low speed might be 10 or 15 mph, I feel the rhythm of fast and slow and fast and slow of every turn of the tire, what have causes that? I rotate tire every 7500 miles. My car has only 21000 miles now. Thanks.

A:Thats pretty close, the rating they give to us (the consumers) is going to the best numbers they get out of multiple tests. The factors that could change those numbers insignificantly could be road conditions, tires used, amount of weight in the car, the way you accelerate, amount of stop and go, and condition of your vehicle (mechanically). So yes you have normal mpg. As far as the second part goes, I dont understand your question, or what is going on with the car. If you are hearing noises from the tires themselves, it could be uneven wear.

Q:Im looking to replace my Maxima 04 it has had alot of problems.Unfortunatly the only thing I like is the Murano but I have had so many problems with the service centers in my area I hate the idea of having to continue to use Nissan. I want to do a lease because I usually get sick of cars in a few years and now that the warrenty is up the Maxima is costing me tons of money. I keep reading reviews about squeaky breaks. If you have a Murano what do you think of it? Do you have service center issues?

A:i have a neighbor that has a 04 (i think) Murano and so far no problems other then regular maintenance. i have been to the Nissan dealer in my area seeing i have a Nissan Titan, and they are great very helpful and understanding.

if you are having problems with Nissan service by you, try getting into a Toyota Camry or another Toyota. i worked a toyota dealer, and the new Camrys are great, get the v6, its an excellent engine, so smooth and quiet and great power.

just a suggestion but its up to you

good luck with your decision
