Tahoe is a great vehicle in the first place but with the hybrid, you get great fuel economy for a SUV, and still have the capacity to tow, or store quite a lot of people or gear. The driver info readout is wonderful. It tells you at all times if you are in hybrid mode (if the electric motor is running) or not. Additionally it gives you a running total of how your fuel economy is and how close you are from shifting from the electric motor to the gas motor. Probably more importantly, the shifting is barley noticeable. If it were not for the screen telling you which mode you were in, you wold not be able to tell. Only thing I don’t completely care for is a few too many hybrid badges on it. Great vehicle and great piece of engineering!
