Hi folks,
I just bough C300 in mars red with P@ and multimedia and I love this car.Everything is so perfect you feel that it belongs there from the steering wheel controls to the cup holders and I can go on.Its sporty on the outside and luxurious in the inside.I didn't test drive BMW or lexus or infinity but when I drove this car I knew it that this was it.BMW isually for younger peopla thats why I was contemplating but C300 with the start on the grill it looks sexy and with AMG wheels its a blast plus price wise I mean overall a perfect car in every segement and I hope I dont encounter any problems in the future. enjoy ur ride

I hopes of replacing my '96 Dodge Stratus with a near equivalent car - I test drove an SE (one with quite a few of the upgrades of the SXT) but with the 2.4L engine. I found the steering to be quite responsive, and the ride very smooth (with it's 17" wheels). Althought the seat were firm, I appreciated the lumbar support. As a 6'2" person, the forward tilt head rests did not seem to bug me at all.
My only criticism is the rearward visability seems lacking. When backing out of a parking space, I was a little uncomfortable w/ the blind spots. The side view mirrors seem a bit smallish. I'm one who takes a little time to decide, but I definitely liked this car and could see myself buying one of these!

I purchased the car with 8 miles on it. Took it in after 250 miles to have tow adjusted. It was pulling to the left. I had also noticed what sounded like a high engine rev while braking. This was in mild temperatures. When the temperature dropped into the 20's or teen's I noticed that the engine was having trouble shifting. This was from 2nd gear and up. The engine would not shift until I pushed the rpms to 3000 or just above. Took it to the dealer. Nothing showed up on the computer. They thought the engine was just cold. 4 months old, 2300 miles I am concerned. Is anyone having this problem?

I am very impressed with the ride, feel and looks of the "New" Avenger. The mileage is turning out better than anticipated for having a 2.4L with this size frame. The custom made Air Deflector, "Avenger" stamped stainless steel door sills and chrome exhaust accessories really set off the overall appearance. I have not experienced any problems and would highly recommend the Avenger for looks, performance and overall value. The Inferno Red gives off a gloss that turns heads!!

I bought an avenger in SEP 07, I was initally impressed with its combination of power and fuel effiency. However, after 2 months it started to stall randomly while I was stopped or braking to turn (along with a laundry list of one time problems and recalls) I had the vehicle in for service several times, but the dealership was unable to dublicate the problem. Eventually Corp. Chrysler called me and said I could not bring it in for service on this problem any more, I asked what else I could do; they said nothing. I then was forced into the Florida Lemon Law process which is time consuming, but fairly pain free. Once the paperwork was completed and a hearing date was set Chrysler called me and offered to buy back the car in MAR 08. I was surprised to learn that Chrysler has no internal program to make things right on their own, that coupled with the poor customer service at the corp level ensured that I will never own another one of their products. Additionally, after I dropped it off at the dealership as part of the buy back, the service dept said that several Avengers were experiancing the same problem ... you've been warned

I don't even know where to begin with this car! My husband traded in his Jeep to get a car with good fuel economy and we got burned with the Avenger SXT! In a period of 6 months, we had the car in the shop at least 10 times. Every speaker in the car had to be replaced, the radiator blew at 10,000 miles, and it stalled frequently when braking or slowing down to turn in front of traffic. It was frightening to drive or ride in this car. The transmission also shifted so hard that it made you think you just got rear ended. The interior looked cheaply designed and the chrome accents on the gear shift reflected sun directly into your eyes.

The service techs could not recreate the problem and one even said, "It's starts back up, doesn't it?" then implied that stalling was part of normal operation. Even more troubling was the customer service provided by Chrysler Corporation. We filed a last repair attempt request before we filed Lemon Law paperwork. This was denied because they couldn't recreate the problem and we were told that any further requests for service would be denied. We had to file Lemon Law on this clunker and Chrysler finally agreed to buy back the vehicle. The day we returned the vehicle the service manager mentioned that there are a lot of Avengers with this same issue and there is currently no fix.

We will NEVER own another Chrysler product, especially a Dodge. We are very happy to be free of this POS.

I love my Avenger. I purchased 3 last year and paid cash. I have no regrets nor my girls except the brakes could last longer. I drive 140 miles a day/4days a week on one tank of gas. I love it. I can hug a curve at 90MPH with not even the slightest wobble. I dont like where the flasher button is positioned, I always hit it when I am putting things in the compartment under it. The blinkers stay on even after you turn them off or they register right when I am going left. and the bright lights lever is way too sensitive. Everytime you put your blinker on...the slightest push forward will engage the brights. Other than that I love my car and my girls love theirs also.

Needs lock on glove box door, the sport suspension is great for curves but a little rough on bad roads. The acceleration is great for passing and flying down the highway at 80. Really like the styling with the bigger rims.

I rented a car and they gave me a Dodge Caliber. I'm returning it tomorrow! I was in an accident - I hit a pedestrian - making a left hand turn and she was walking towards me - never seen her until I was right on her. Been driving 39 years and never had an accident! The front visibility is very poor in this car. The pedestrian was right in the blind spot and remained there as we both progressed into the intersection. Don't rent or buy one - really if you own one proceed with caution. Those of you, who wrote reviews about this problem, thank you. I was beside myself -- couldn't understand how I couldn't have seen her. I've never wrote a review before but thought nobody should go through this.

Why do people buy this car? I rented this car a few months ago, and it is one of the worst cars I have driven. I never felt safe while driving because of the blind spots... Also, acceleration is average, gas mileage was average to poor, and the ride was so rough. Look at the Corolla or Civic, IMO.

My 2007 Caliber was a rental car return. It had 10800 miles on it giving me the remainder of the 3 year warranty. I had followed this car from the time an "auto spy" spotted one on the road that was camouflaged. I wanted to replace a 1995 SUV and had been looking at several options. I kept coming back to the Caliber for the utility capabilities of this car. Since purchasing it in November of 2007, I have had two occasions where it proved to be a good choice. I was able to purchase a 42" flat screen LCD TV and bring it home, in the box. The second was an occasion where we purchased several long rolls of Naugahyde we needed for some upholstery work. both fit in the car easily thank to the front seat fold flat feature. I've been getting 25mpg during in town driving. The brakes are exceptional. As for the CVT, it's simply great. It functions well in normal driving and I've had to "punch" the gas pedal and the 2.0 liter engine and the CVT showed me it could get out of the way when needed. Seating comfort and visibility are great and yes, we've used the in dash cooler. The removable cargo floor cover in the rear is easy to remove and clean. The dash layout is good and the overall fit of everything, outside and in is excellent. Highly recommend this car. The car's height and theater seating gives the driver good visibility, something I really liked when I had the SUV. The car looks good, it's economical and it performs well. The re-chargeable flash light in the roof of the cargo area is useful and a really nice touch. Some good thought wen into the design of this car!! I am VERY happy!!

The car’s height and theater seating gives the driver good visibility, something I really liked when I had the SUV. The car looks good, it’s economical and it performs well. The re-chargeable flash light in the roof of the cargo area is useful and a really nice touch. Some good thought wen into the design of this car!! I am VERY happy!!

This car is for the typical 18 year old who wants to look cool. It does have decent acceleration and has fairly attractive/aggresive lines but any car enthusiast will agree this car is plain cheap. It handles horribly, sounds like your driving a semi as there is no noise supression, the interior looks like it was ripped out of a $10,000 Dodge Neon, and it is super uncomftorable. Like I said, if these things don't matter to you, then this car is for you.

I have owned my charger for 9 months so I am not reviewing it right off the show room floor. The looks of the car drew me to it and the performance sold me on it. Overall I am very satisfied with my Charger. It's a great looking car that draws attention everywhere I go. We don't see many of them around here (upstate NY) which I like. There is no doubt the car is powerful and fun to drive. I have a 23 mile commute to work about 16 miles highway and 7 miles city and I average 19.2 miles per gallon. The 4 door is very convenient and the car sits high enough so it is easy to get in and out of. I use leather protector and it has been very easy keeping the interior clean. Mine is the 5.7l 340 horse hemi, the acceleration is great and the power is awesome. I've had the car up to 120 mph with more throttle left. It took a while to get used to the steering, it wants to over steer so you need to be careful until you get used to it. I've had it into the dealers twice because of electrical problems, I've had problems with the sun roof and the sensor in the passenger seat. Chrysler has taken good care of me but it is still an inconvenience. The biggest fault of this car is the visibility the chopped look that give it it's impressive styling make it hard to see. Both sides have a blind spot that a semi can hide in. You have to be back from the stop lights quite a ways to see them. The car has an auto stick transmission that I don't see the point of without a clutch. If you are looking for a big powerful (muscle) car I feel confident recommending the Dodge Charger.

I could only wish that the Hemi could get better fuel rate. But life is not perfect. We have to be impressed with the power. Dodge really got the look and feel of the car just right. Thanks.

Epitomy of Perfection
I have just purchased a brand new Charger SRT-8 in Brilliant Black, see Dodge.com Pure perfection, gracious & swift steering, WITH minimal body roll! There are MANY applications and augmentations available for the 6.1L The stock rims & suspension actually supports the surpassing performance. Rims are light for stock. Suspension is tight. ESP is wonderful.
NOTE::: To take FULL advantage of SRT-8's potential, disengage ESP for maximized BHP & acceleration.

Zippy and mean.I am 5'10" 240 lbs with bad knees, went on a trip of 900 miles and had relatively little pain that is associated with long trips. Lots of room and has a good firm ride with real good zip for the 3.5 V6. I will enjoy this car quite a while.

Charger is a good value

I really wished I had spent the extra money on the SXT model but it was 5 grand more. The 2.7 is ok but lacks low down power and it's mileage is middling at best. Also Dodge needs to re-instate bodyside moldings as std equipment becasue it looks too plain without them. rear visibility is not very good either. On the plus side, this car rides well and is comfortable to drive. It's also a bargain and a good value in a full size.

Pros: good waranty, great sexy apperance, great horse power
Cons: too pricey, not very comfortable for long rides

If they can upgrade some of the standards,it will get more popularity and it will get its money worth.Over all,it has a great appearance and sexy curves.
